Description:
Smaller version of the Krzyż Walecznych produced by J. Knedler, Warsaw, known as the “Mały Knedler.”
Obverse bears the inscription “NA POLU CHWAŁY 1920” with crowned Polish eagle at center.
Reverse shows “WALECZNYM” with sword and laurel wreath, and engraved number 58173 on the upper arm.
The piece includes the original period ribbon with bronze oak-leaf clasp – a rarely preserved feature.
Condition:
Very good condition with attractive bronze patina, light wear consistent with age.
Clear serial number and detailed strike.
